Michael Kelly

Bio: Michael Kelly was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his dance training from West Michigan Dance Center and Grand Rapids Ballet Company. He received his B.F.A in Dance from NYU at Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Upon graduating he moved to France to be in the show “Feerie” at the world-renowned Moulin Rouge. Other professional credits include Rambert Contemporary Dance Company in London, the “White Light Festival” at Lincoln Center, “Bright Lights Gala” at the Joyce Theater, and most recently “Extravaganza the Show” in Las Vegas. While working in London, he had the opportunity tour the country performing works by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Jermaine Spivey and Andrea Miller. In 2020, Michael had the opportunity to be a part of the creation process in collaboration with 59 Productions for a new show at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center in Kuwait. In addition to performing, Michael has had the opportunity to teach and choreograph at places like Las Vegas School of the Arts and the Kalamazoo KRESA program. Michael is excited to share his passion for dance with next generation of dancers.
