Bio: Chad Vaught was born and raised in a small suburb of Wichita, KS. His love for entertainment began at the young age of seven. As he learned more about the entertainment industry, his love and knowledge for the performing arts grew.

In 2017, Chad graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Post-graduation Chad moved to Dallas, TX and became a company member with DBDT: Encore! for their 2017/2018 season and then joined Bruce Wood Dance for their 2018/2019 season. Some live stage productions that Chad has had the pleasure of performing include: Dallas Theatre Center’s production of Hairspray, Plan-B Entertainment’s production of Chicago, The Dallas Opera’s production of Samson et Delila and Carmen.

Chad has a passion for choreographing and teaching. While he was at New York University, his piece I Am _____ was chosen to be showcased in the Second Avenue Dance Company Major Concert. He has choreographed for Wanderlust III and I.M. Terrell Dance Academy. His duet You vs. Me was chosen to be performed at the EXCHANGE Choreography Festival in Tulsa, OK. He has taught across the country at many institutions, such as the Joffrey Ballet School in Texas and I.M Terrell Academy for STEM and VPA. Chad is excited to continue choreographing and teaching dance for the existing and upcoming generations of dancers.

Fun Fact: I love cats almost as much as dance. Not only do I have multiple cat shirts and lots of cat decor, I have a loving cat named Misty (and I'm hoping to add another kitten to the family soon!).
